There are two ways of creating your blog
1. Creating a free blog like YourName.blogspot.com or YourName.wordpress.com
2. Creating your personal blog by buying domain name for example www.YourName.com
For creating a free blog you just have to create an account on a free blogging provider. Most popular providers are LiveJournal, Blogger, WordPress.com and Xanga. These blogging providers provides pre-made templates and blogging software by which don’t require much technical knowledge.
For creating free blog using Blogger.com just open blogger.com and login with your Google account. Now click on create blog link to create your first blog. Watch this video for more details.
To create your own personal blog like www.Yourname.com then you have to register a domain name and have to host your blog.After registering your domain name you have to host your blog.
Now I am going to share some important things regarding your blog/website.
If you are new to blogging then you must know about WordPress. WordPress is a free blogging software. You must use WordPress for your blogs. There are various reasons for using WordPress
1. This is a complete blogging software which can do all what you want to do for your blog.
2. Now need of technical knowledge of web programming for designing your blog.
3. You may use lot of themes to give different look and feel to your blog.
4. WordPress creates fully optimized post/page so that you get great results on search engine. For example your page will come on top results in Google if created from WordPress in comparison to normal HTML page.
5. WordPress is very simple to use and its free of cost.
WordPress is by default provided by your hosting provider and you can directly use it for your blog. You can ask your hosting provider for more details regarding installing WordPress for your blog.
